Set in the heart of the Charente Maritime, in the quiet rural hamlet of Phiolin, these recently converted 19th century barns
offer every modern convenience and comfort for a relaxing family break.

Les Deux Puits has private grounds of over 7 acres, consisting mainly of fruit orchards, arboretum and fruit and vegetable gardens, all enclosed within a secure boundary hedge. Within the grounds is a private parking area from which it is a short walk along paths edged with flower borders to the individual properties.
Each gite has its own private garden with flower beds, herb garden, seating area and barbeque. There are additional seating areas throughout the grounds where guests can find a quiet, shady spot in which to relax and unwind.

For those seeking some gentle entertainment, there are boule courts and a children's play area with swings and slide (unsupervised). Table tennis and other ball games are also available and bicycles may be hired to explore the local area, which is ideally suited to cycling.
In addition to weekly summer lets, we also offer B&B, short breaks and long winter lets from October to April.

Phiolin is only 10 minutes drive from the town of Pons, where you can access the A10 autoroute (toll road).
This makes journeys to and from major towns like Rochefort, La Rochelle and Bordeaux quick and easy.
Scheduled flights are available to these towns from many airports including Gatwick, Southampton, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Dublin. Car hire can usually be booked with flights.
